I need to run more agressive front camber. So i've bought myself a set of camber top plates, which look great. But here lies my problem:

They foul the spring cup (9) on the left hand side, where it is at its highest. So i'd be scraping that along the top mount when turning the wheel to full lock.

Aside from chucking in a couple of washers between the spring hat and the top mount, or buying expensive front coilovers, does anyone have any less-bodgy solutions?

diy coilovers will run you to about 50 for the weld on sleeves and top cap and about 60 for springs. i know on mine i have to run a spacer to allow enough space for the spherical bearing to articulate without hitting the coilover top cap anyway.

Do you have any images of your strut set up? They sound very interesting.

yeah heres a pic, there is a spacer between the top cap and the topmount as the spherical bearing sits slightly inside the top mount.

Did your top spring perch come as part of a kit? Or is it available individually? I might try getting rid of the spring and OEM perch for a coilover design one like you have there...

I've heard that the Rally Design ones need machining out, and I wondered if there is a direct solution to the problem, as I don't have anyone in mind that could help with the machining...
