Hello does anyone know if e36 fuel pump would fit e30 with in-tank pump?
Only as I can get em a bit cheaper and easier to come across at a breakers

you could make the actual pump from an E36 assembly work in an E30 as a temporary emergency fix, but they are far from an exact replacement, and you'd have difficulty fixing the inlet filter and getting the pump to pick up from a near empty tank.

Vw-will did this im sure it was e36 , may have been e34 worked fine with some fettling .
