I have got a 'F' reg 1989 318i. I have noticed recently that the clutch is a bit high. I was wondering is the clutch adjustable like it used to be with the clutch cable on some old cars or does it basically mean my clutch is on its last legs and aint got much to go? Any help advice or info please

Any trouble selecting gears? Clutches should last more than 5 months :?

The only thing that's adjustable i think is the height of the clutch pedal down in the footwell

Where the Master meets the pedal is an "Oval" shaped nut????
Can't remember exactly, but if you look underneath, you'll see what I mean

I wouldnt worry about it TBH, as long as the pedal doesnt feel heavy and its not slipping you should be fine

Don't start adjusting things that should never need adjustment!
What does the fluid in the clutch reservoir look like? The same as that in the brake master reservoir, or something the council could use to repair potholes with?
