Adjustable roll bars.. which setting is stiffer?!

Trying to work it out in my head.. adjustable roll bars with different holes for different settings, which holes are for softer and which for stiffer settings?!

Got my front one on the middle hole, but the rear only has 2 and i'll be fitting it this w/end hopefully n want to know which hole is stiffer

The hole closer to the bar is the stiffer setting as less leverage on the transverse section, the further out from the bar you are hte longer the lever effect and hence softer the ARB is.

Excellent cheers dude, thats what i thought it was, its the main bar that provides the stiffness so less leverage the more force needed to twist
