Hole on AFM flap door WTF

So I was decided to replace my worn AFM and took mine off. Mine has a straight flap with no holes in it.
Surprise came when I took my new AFM and saw that it has a hole with "08" hardprinted on it.

Is it some kind of factory calibration due to clearances between flap and AFM chassis? The two have the same part nº. Can I put it with no trouble?

I saw another AFM on google with holes too, with different sizes and inscriptions
