So as my dismantling of the cab continues, upon inspection of the droplinks they look like they could do with some attention.
Is it simple a case of takin the two bolts out which attach to the drop link and replacing with the new one?
Struts are already off the car so that bit is out the way. Might even replace the arms and lollipop bushes while the cars in bits.
Replacing from ARB drop links

Yes, should be very simple. Sometimes can become a bastard when the ball joint starts spinning.

Simple bolt off/on job. Not applicable in your case, but when working on complete suspension, both wheels need to be off the ground at the same, otherwise you are fighting the roll bat itself.
These fit in place of the BMW ones, eliminating the crude rubber bush: http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/c/F ... 15e&000016
