After swapping over my wheels, i took the car out for a drive. And i noticed that i was getting no power to the windows and sunroof, only when i open the door i was getting power.

Also my saved radio stations had disappeared so i had to reset them ..

Any help would be much appreciated :D

cut off switch? theres still power when you open the doors so doubt its a fuse..

how did you swap the wheels to cause an issue with your radio and window switches

If I remember correctly, there is a seperate fuse for door open and ignition on. Fuse 28 is Doors open I think, Fuse 17 when ignition on...check them both, but still there's probably a problem somewhere that caused it to blow if it's that.

One of my window switches had broken inside (found out how to take it apart and fixed it) when this happened to me...nothing to do with changing wheels though!

There are two fuses; one for IGN live and one for doors-open. A relay switches between the two circuits based on the state of the door pin switch.

The IGN live fuse has almost definitely blown. The real issue is why.

great, so replace the fuse.

It was a bit odd as it felt as if my car was running a bit lumpy and weak. Like when i was about to pull out of a junction quickly but it felt gutless as if it was on the verge of stalling so i ended up hitting the breaks and having my front end poke out a bit too much at the junction. I assumed it had something to do with the wheels as they were bigger and heavier.

But it seemed to be ohk 20mins later

It's weird that the power seemed to go to the head unit too...

You never know how a stereo's been bodged in. It's supposed to be off 7.5A Fuse 12, but sometimes other wires in the area prove too tempting for the Halfrauds fitters to resist.

hats off to you tho, seems like you've done alot of work to your motor and done it properly. Unlike me who does one or two mods and then takes 100 photos of my car at different angles to post on forums winkeye

lol, looks good though, you need to get underneath and sort the handling and bushes etc out! took me 3 months of blood sweat and tears but now handlings sorted perfect! 60 round a bend with no lean... :drive:
