Hello, there is a whine from the back, its sounds like the LSD. Are these easy to get reconned or do i try and find one at a breakers or ebay, wherer they seem a bit steep.

Im just ignoreing it hoping it will stop at the moment

Might also be the rear sub-frame bushes transmitting excess noise. Just to complicate things!

try changin the oil and c if it quitens it dow a little but alot of these wine and still do 30 thou

If you are planning on keeping the car, it's probably worth getting it rebuilt.

I had mine done a while back and they charged Ԛ£250 and did a superb job. You would have to pay at least Ԛ£200 for a used LSD and it may be just as bad as your current one.
