My facelift 325i seems to have developed a strange case of just enough electricity! It runs fine but when stopping or slowing sometimes the stereo will cut out, sometimes the lights will dim. This happened yesterday when turning on full beam. It seems to recover itself but is annoying. Sometimes the stereo won't come on for the first 15 mins or so.
I need to check out the battery terminals and earth though I think they are all fine. Could the alternator be on its way out? Or is there some other gremlin?
