The battery in my iS decided to die a while back and seeing as it's been parked up it's not been too much of a problem, but now I need it and have kindly been offered a 390 amp unit. Would this be man enough for early morning possible consecutive starts? I've searched for starter current draw figures but not found much.

If it fits in, can be clamped down, the battery terminals are in the right place and the right type, and both battery and engine are in good condition, it'll be fine. I ran a 325 E36 for a while with the torch sized battery from a Peugot 106 in it, with no problems.
