Need a experienced E30 owner to take a look at my cart (that should have been car but cart is good). Bought a right pig and I'd like someone to take a look without the deep intake of breath through the teeth thing and hopefully see what are priorities and best ways of doing.
I would of course be willing to pay the white armoured gent a bag full of gold for his or infact her help and guidance. I just seem to be running rond in circles with my head up my arse at the moment and the local garbage , well least said the better.

Thing is I haven't had her long and this is my first E30, but I know the wiring is shot to bits, the steering feels like it's got a life of it's own and I don't feel safe and I've just got one of those real bad gut feelings that it's been badly bodged all over. I could really do with someone taking her for a spin and look at wiring(most of the interior is stripped). I recently had a steering rack and wishbone bushes fitted and now feels worse than before (previous steering rack had bent track rod end).

They didn't do the tracking for sure, seems to shoot off this way and that. Got country lanes my way and was costantly fighting the car all the way home.

shooting off left and right sounds like tracking for sure.. too much toe out. get that looked at then come back to us. i could have a quick look round for nowt if you wanted.. know roughly what an e30 should look and drive like, have lived with mine for over a year now.

When i bought mine i didn't realise the rubber doughnut in the steering column was worn until after. made the car wander around the road
