Hello, my girlfriend recently got a 320i se, I am worried about the oil light being on, the oil level is fine (is black though so needs a change), its halfway up the marks on the dipstick. What else could put the light on? And how can I check it? Thanks

Nothing to worry about if the level is fine. Using genuine oil filters seems to help aswell
