i wonder if anyone can help
i have have not been happy with the performance of my bmw so i took it to a local tuner he put the fault finder on the ecu and sure enough it was coming up ecu fault.

the car idles ok and the fuel eco is sh*t
also mate has also 325i sport and he leaves me for dust
read in recent post for fuel eco check the blue temp sender (can anyone tell me how to check this)

does anyone know what ecu should be in it ?(g plate 325i sport)

dont know much about bmws as this is my first one

any help would be brill cheers

What was the fault showing ?

ECU should be a 0261 200 173 for this car

just replace the coolant temp sensor, they are cheap and take a few minutes to fit, Change that before you do anything else !

kam both the testers that we tried said just ecu fault
all sensors were good
