My car's a 1985 323i. Weirdly, the electric windows have stopped working (both fronts). I have already done the following items after searching this forum.
1. Cleaning switch contacts. They are both fresh with no carbon deposits.
2. Fuse looks fine
3. Replaced relay K5.
The weird thing is switches both are illuminated, yet when I press a switch they stop glowing! I have tried with doors open/closed and even with the engine on. I'm at the end of my tether with this, does anyone please have any suggestions?
