There should be a small rectangular metal tab on the rear, which will tell you whether or not it's definitely an LSD (denoted by an 'S') and the ratio

Ok i guess its medium case as the only small case ones are open.

I am selling due to replacing it with a welder. What is that worth?

Thanks

Is this a commonly frowned upon situation within you and your online friends?

My concern was rather than to ruin a perfectly working lsd that someone could make use of, i swapped it for a welded open diff to suit my requirements.

Certainly frowned upon by insurance companies and VOSA engineers that may be inspecting your car.
Not applicable, of course, if you are making a track only car.

OK thankyou for your comments.

My concerns are more of whether it is of a ratio of value to anyone on here. If not it can be kept as spare.
