I need to reconnect mine its as simple as that, or maybe not I have read that I need to remove or loosen the front bumper. The car is an 89 325is Tech 2. I just need enough room to push the little blighter on. By the way its on the near side of the car if that makes any difference. Any help would be great.

Unless it's been removed recently, suggest a major spraying of WD40 at least 24 hrs in advance. Use a 1/2" drive socket, those bolts have broken three lifetime guarantee 3/8 drive T55 sockets with me.
