cars been totally fine getting back home, lccking my car then needing to open it again..the drivers door lock wont even turn when the keys in it.

i dont want to turn it harder incase i snap the key, my passenger side works with the key but is really stiff to open (never opened car from passenger side before since ive had it) so i had to climb in from the passenger side to get in the car. also once im in the car i tried pulling the door pin up on the drivers door and its gone really stiff.

any ideas.?

Check the actuator linkages had the same on my passenger door. The actuator itself was stiff so I swapped it for a spare I had and boom, sorted 8)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

You can buy them from BMW. Not too expensive and relatively easy to do. Just take your time and make sure you're in a clean-ish area when swapping the tumblers. If they spring out they can go flying about.

I found a few detailed how to's on line. Maybe even here... won't take long to search
