Hey guys, whilst driving my e30 last night i heard a large bang from the back end. Assuming it was a suspension fault i had a look and couldn't see any abnormalities with the springs/shocks everything feels fine on the suspension. When driving to work this morning it got worse, much worse.
Now it happens when i am pulling away and turning at the same time and has become a violent banging until i straighten up.
Possibly diff? i'm not sure, anyone out there have any ideas they would like to share?
Cheers

Diff or CV joint is my guess. Probably diff. I had a cavalier do this to me some time ago. Only difference is it didn't have a welder

You had a look at your rear top suspension mounts?

You will most likely have knocked a tooth off one of the gears or cracked the spool, get it changed before it locks up with no warning.
Might sound fun, really isn't fun.

At least you can get the diff off easy enough and work on it at your leisure off the car. Might be a good time to fit an LSD.
