Had my 3201 '89 cabby for a few weeks. The rattle which i thought was a loose hood washer or something is now getting right on my tits.
So tried to trace today.
opened the compartment where the roof folds away and had a root around.
The only loose bits were the cymbal shaped washers that are on the the top of the shock mounts. (I think thats what they are anyway)
Any way, theres some play in these and I reckon that they are the little buggers that are rattling away when driving.
I tried to tighten the nut with fingers but it seems to be turning but not tightening! ?
So does that mean the rubber bush underneath it has died?
Any one else help me out here.?
Can I fix it easily?
Or should i leave to my mechanic?
