Just pulled my 1800 M40 motor out and am about to drop in my M42 iS lump.

The engine mounts on the M40 motor has small shock absorbers on each side. my iS M42 has no shock absorbers - just big rubber mounts.

Will I be best off keeping the shocker mounts or converting to the iS rubber mounts?

Cheers

The M42 rubber mounts are better in design, i would keep the M42 ones on there. The gearbox mounts on the M42 are also different (slightly softer)
