Question regarding e30 cab

Hi I have a 1989 325i Conv with hardtop just wondering if there is anything I can do to tighten things up to seal out road noise a little more? Also when driving I get a pinking sound coming from engine bay as the revs get higher with speed, so is there anything that I need to do to keep engine noise out of car?

Maybe change the headliner to something more thicker - or add some sound deadening in there (dont know how much difference it will make though tbh!)
