hi guys
I just noticed that my car is sitting lower on the drivers side rear. the car is a j reg cab sitting on alpina reps at the moment. the wheel is just about clearing the arch. im not sure what happened as it wasnt like this before. i havent had time to take of the alloy and have a look but i was informed that the spring is probably shot. a couple of question:
1: is it the spring or the shock?
2: as i was going to renew the suspension all round, this seems like a good time to do it. Apart from spring and shocks what else should i replace?
thanks

thanks bmw 9818 and grrrmachine. (whats your name as id like to know who keeps helping me) ive had a look at the link so ive figured that at the
front: springs: bilstein or the boge
shocks: h & r or eibach
would you replace the ball joints ?
rear: springs and shocks
rear top mounts m3 convertible ones ( now the part numbers on the wiki do they refer to ecp or bmw??
also as this is adding up would the sachs springs and shocks from ecp do?? is the above sufficeint to improve the ride??
thanks
