would i be able to use my 325 head on a 2700 bottom end
from a 525e? are the engine mounts the same?
any help appreciated

Better to use a 320i Head as the combustion chambers are a much better match for the ETA pistons.

Get a engine number for the block and the guys will tell you what compression ratio it is.

as M5pilot says, iff you're looking for a cheap and cheerful upgrade for your car,

bolt a 2.0 (731 casting) head onto the eta block!

a quck search using the search function will get you plenty of guides on how to build a 2.7 and will hopefully inspire you :D
