1990 325i M20 2" coolant hoses are rock hard when the engine is at running temp.
temp gauge is between 1/4 and 1/2
heaters blow hot air
140 psi yellow coolant cap
thin hose from rad to expansion tank is clear

anyone had this issue...?

bleed screw vents coolant. No air, but coolant sprays out under pressure.

What makes you think you have a problem? Hoses should be fairly hard at 1.4 bar.(About 20 PSI, not 140!)

compared to the M42 coolant hoses, with a 2 bar cap, the M20 hoses feel a lot harder.

However, since the engine isnt overheating, i guess there is no problem. Thanks
