exhaust clamp

Hey chaps,
Looking for some good exhaust clamps, my centre box is blowing a bit through the slits they cut to mate 2 pipes together as my current exhuast clamps are the cheap thin wire U clamps.

I need something thats more like a sleeve that can clamp a larger area. What have you lot got?

Also, what is the exhaust diameter of the 325i pipes?

57mm diameter? or 51mm?

If you've got an old metal oil can, cut a piece out and wrap it round. secure with the usual pipe clamps.

Sounds like a bodge.!

Would rather spend a fiver on clamps.!

What exhaust do you have origionally on the car?

325i one?

Its an original 3 piece OEM one. Bog standard thing. 50mm then?

Also, those mikalor hose clamps, can they be racheted up without breaking?

I ordered some a while ago, yet to use them, but Danthe is using them, not heard anything bad, even Leeparkes iirc.

Your's will be 45mm pipes on the 325i system.
