Have I got the wrong external temperature sensor .. duct?

Looke like its for a tech 2?

that will work as long as the sensor has a resistance and the correct connector. early style were round, later version had a yellow plug like a headlamp.

This has a round connector.

Just have to find a way to fit it to something
