Hi All,
Been a while since I posted here so greetings back to all of you!!

So I need some help..... my 327i needs a little TLC in the form of a rust hole in the bulkhead near where the loom passes through from the glovebox to the fusebox. I can probably move it without removing it such that it is well safe from welding heat but I would rather remove it completely. Looking at it it looks like the best way would be removing the wires from the back of the fusebox and passing them through the bulkhead but I am keen to know if anyone else has done this???

Thanks,
James

Can I take it out the other way from the back of the fusebox through the bulkhead into the cabin?

Or is it a loom out from the interior only option??

I have done this twice, it is a thoroughly grim job and can only be done via the engine bay.

I am of the opinion that you can only do this with all trim gutted and even easier with the engine out too. Good luck with it.
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Duke,
Did you pull your car loom out through the bulkhead into the engine bay to do this then?

I bought some 3mm aluminium sheet and bent it into a tube to shield the loom. Worked wonders while I did my bulkhead repair.
