As above, what could be the possible causes? Within the last year I've had a new rack, tie rods and tyres.

Have u had the wheels realigned? Tracking may b out. Or the top shock mounts could b binding up which can result to this, so changing top mounts and mount bearings

My first concern would be the control arms and their bushings and balljoints. Did anything show up on the last M.O.T. ?
If it ain't broke..

Sounds like too much toe-out, alignment check 1st then look for other problems.

Just about everything has been replaced over the last 18 months, struts, top mounts, wish bones etc etc. It was only really after the tyres were replaced that I noticed the problem.

Check yourself; don't rely on some fancy laser set up - it may be accurate tp +/- 0.00001 degrees, but the operator might only be good for +/- 5 degrees or so.
