Hi,

Trying to price up postage of car parts that I'm selling but cant weigh all the bigger bits and was wondering if anybody knows a weights of e30 parts spec sheet anywhere?

My friend told me about paisley freight who do set prices for car parts but they seem steep. For example I want around £30 for the bonnet but they would want £25 for posting. Nearly doubles the price or does this seem right?

Some carriers go on a combination of weight and dimensions, so although not particularly heavy, it might be the size that has pushed the cost up.
Schadenfreude - the German's haven't got a word for that.

Have a look at the bmwfans website. For most parts it shows the weight in metric and imperial and the price in € and $.
