My brother came across Melber wheels (for his e21)with the following on the wheels

Melber KBA 40651
L94-A
6Jx 13H2
ET13

can anyone give him an insight into this brand and are they worth something?

Thanks

Melber is a long-bankrupt Italian wheel manufacturer who seemed to specialise in aftermarket wheels for German cars; they had some pretty radical designs. The model KBA 40651, however, is a pretty standard basketweave wheel, and at 13" wheel they're useless for an E30. Surprisingly they were originally designed for the Mini, and stem from around 1991; however, they'll also fit VW's and Fiats of that era too, so you can stick them on ebay as SUPER RARE MINI VW FIAT wheels.

This is the official German Safety Test certificate for the wheel. The last page outlines which models it was designed for.
