Quick question and there might be a few more along these lines in the coming months! But in my (stripped) facelift 318i (RHD), there are two holes in the footwell. A small oval one and a larger round one. I remember the oval one is for the clutch master cylinder, but what about the bigger one, what's that for? And where is the accelerator cable supposed to go?

The throttle cable goes through a hole about two inches to the right and four inches above the steering column, as viewed from the footwell.
I can't answer the other question

There are quite a few holes around the footwell - a pic would help.

Here we go! Trial fitting of pedal box.

Oval hole just to the right of the steering column (which is for clutch master cylinder & line I believe) and the big-ass round one above it.

I've had a look at pics of my chromie with the engine out and I still can't work it out but that area looks to be where the throttle cable comes through.

The lower hole is for your clutch master cylinder outlet to the slave. The big top hole is where the big plate on the back of your pedal box sits. The throttle cable and pipe from the clutch fluid resevoir come in through that hole.

Ok, cool. With the pedal box, should be able to route all the hard lines for front brakes, clutch and fluid reservoirs through what was the clutch MS hole then. Havn't thought about how to do the throttle cable yet...
