Hi i've been using a 35w hid kit for the last year or so however one side has started to flicker and not turn on and i needed the car in tip top condition for its MOT so i swapped them back to standard hallogens. For about two days after the MOT with standard hallogen bulbs in, the driver side dipped beam light went out. I replaced the bulb, checked the wiring and checked the fuses however none of that help and still have the issue of one headlight out. I wired the working HID light on the driver side to check if that would work and still no luck. Indicators, full beam and side lights still work on that side so i have no idea whats wrong. Please help, not enjoying getting pulled every 20 minutes!

I believe there's one relay for each side, otherwise you could be driving and lose both headlights.

Same relay does both sides, but the lights are fused separately! The second set of contacts on relay K4 are for the foglight circuits.
If replacing the relay 'cured' the problem, then I would suspect a problem with the lamp check relay coil or the inner socket of fuse 14 - either making poor contact or cracked solder
