After a little bump on a roundabout on Sunday night  I need to change the passenger side wing on my touring. The damage isn't too bad, the dent is about 15cm long and maybe 6cm deep but its right on the corner by the headlight so I don't think it can be pulled out. So I just wanted to know what sort of job it is to swap wings. I'm presuming that the bumper will have to come off but then what? Is the wing just bolted on or is there any welding to do  I guess the skirt also needs to come off as well.

Maybe I should just leave it to the professionals but how much will that cost?

So does anyone out there have a nearside wing in good condition, preferably in diamond black?

Doh!

Its not to hard to change front wings.

Bumper off
Skirt, if you have one off--Wahoo!
couple of bolts at thte bottom
8 or so bolts along the top
couple that join it to the front valance.

then there are one or two, behind the wing, so you need to take the inner plastic arch out, should be 6 bolts on that. Reach inside the wing and undo the last of the bolts, its easiest to do this wing loose so you can move it around a bit.

Undo the indicater repeater, just pull the plug!

Oh you may have to break some factory sealing.

Worth cleaning the inner wing and checking for rust and also doing some rust proofing.

Take a while to angle the new wing properly

Make sure your lights are mounted correctly, might have damaged them??
