Hi there,

I need to replace the front shock absorbers on my 1989 320 cabby (1 has little damping and one is starting to leak). I have been told the car has been lowered 40mm. I have read in some places that you can use standard dampers with a drop of up to 40mm. What are opinions on this? Also any recommendations for damper replacements (either shorter or standard)?

Many thanks,

Mark S.

What size struts are on your cabby 51 or 45mm?

Thanks,

I haven't measured them yet, but I am fairly confident that they will be 51mm.
