Hello,
Is a 325i Scorpion backbox specific to a 3 piece or 2 piece exhaust system, or will the backbox fit both 3 piece AND 2 piece exhaust system?
Thanks in advance.

It will be one or the other Harj, 2 and 3 piece are NOT interchangeable unless you start going down the route of Link pipes etc
Need to see a pic really but generally the Scorpion stuff is from a 3 piece system

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Ok, so with regards to the scorpion stuff, are they all 3 piece systems?
On a standard exhaust system, what actually is the difference between the 2 piece and 3 piece system as I thought it may just be that on a 2 piece system the downpipes and centre section are joined, whereas the backbox on both the 3 piece and 2 piece systems are the same. Am I wrong?
Cheers for the help

Back box on a 2 piece has a much longer pipe section to the middle box.
The middle box and down pipes then bolt directly to the manifold
3 piece is, down pipes, middle box and back box
None of it is interchangeable without chopping/migging/bodging etc

Don't know for sure but I would say so mate, never seen a 2 piece scorpion back box for a 325i personally but that doesn't mean they don't exist?! Someone else will know for sure.redcar wrote:Ok I see, thanks for that info.

I seem to remember B7/BSS325 breaking a sport with a link pipe for a 2 piece mid box and 3 piece scorpion back box though
