Just about to do a compression test on my car, anyone have any idea what sort of compression I should be hoping for? It is a 1989 tech 2 sport. Cheers guys....

not sure on the ratio but to get a good test result u need to test it a normal operating temp.i tested mine cold and thought the engine was dead on a few but it fired up first time with no trouble.

to do the test warm engine.
be careful where you put fingers hands and arms.
readings should be similar across all the pots.
if there is any problems it will normally show on one, maybe two pots and the readings will be way off the mark from the rest.

hope this helps fella and good luck.
