DOWNPIPE GASKET HELP?

I have just taken ownership of a 1990 bmw 316i e30 5 door which I paid £400 for. The current problem that needs sorting is it needs a new downpipe gasket which will only cost me around a fiver for the part from euro carparts. The problem is that I dont know how to fit the downpipe gasket and was wondering if someone on here would be able to fit it me and I'll pay £10 to who can. The mechanic I bought it off told me it would be ok to drive around for another couple of months because it was'nt that bad. If anyone can help me I would be thankful.
