Hello everybody. i am trying to do 2 conversions at the moment and have confused myself to crap

the first conversion is an e36 m3 3.2 engine in my e30 and i cant work out how to wire it all up. i have the engine loom but how do i wire it and what do i do with the ews unit??

and 2 is i am putting an m3 3.2 engine in what used to be a 328i and was wondering if i have to alter the wiring on the multiplug or if it should work if i just plug it in?

any info would be greatly appriciated as i am well and truly stuck!

Thanks guys

Reply to 1-Good luck, EWS is a pain, to simplify matters(at a cost) you could convert to OBDI and gain yourself some power and simplify wiring, look on E30 tuning sites for M50 engine swaps, they have wiring diagrams on there.

Reply to 2-Should be relatively close again go through wiring diagrams.

In future avoid OBDII, that is my advice.

Good luck.

The above does not really apply to Euro engines. We did not really get the OBD bollox until the E46, so not really a problem like it is in the US.

Wiring info and EWS details sent via PM & Email :thumb:
