After a few weeks of some h1 bulbs i bought and installed on the cheap. I decided to get a set of brighter Ring H1 bulbs. I had issues of them blowing before but seemed ok for a while hence why i went to get the slightly dearer ones. But an hour ago the passenger side one went again...i went to check and one of the fuses was melted. I cant say what one it was as i couldnt see the numbers on the lid. But can anyone tell me whats going on and what i should do to make a perminant fix? am i installing them wrong?

You are if you let our skin come in contact with the 'glass' part of the bulb. You must hold the envelope of the bulb with a piece of clean paper, or only hold it by the base.ravstar13 wrote: am i installing them wrong?
Other than that, check the output voltage of your alternator.

what wattage bulbs are they? what fuse number and rating was it that blew? when you say melted do you mean the whole plastic was melted or just the fuse had blown?
50W is correct for the standard fuse, 100W (as most bright bulbs are) will require a slighlty larger fuse.
light bulbs also typically blow because you hold them with your greasy fingers when installing, this creates hotspots on the glass and they blow due to that - thus wear gloves when installing or clean with alcohol after..
