Problem identifying two wires in the drivers door area

There are to wires hanging unconnected in the drivers door of my 318iS. I have looked through the wiring diagrams in the Bentley and Haynes manuals but can't identify them.

The two wires are grey/yellow and grey/green. They are in their own harness which splits from the harness for the electric windows switch, and they come in through the A-pillar connector.

I initially thought they might be something to do with the heated door mirror, but the mirror heater is fed from the existing wires in the mirror motor housing.

Perhaps they aren't meant to connect to anything, but I'd like to know before I replace the plastic membrane and door card.

Any info would be appreciated.

these wires go to the bmw factory tweeters which if fitted go in a pod behind the mirror

I guess that the wires are part of the standard harness? No sign that tweeters were ever fitted in my car.
