m20 missfire

been a while since i had it out in a while ,its a 325i m20 its developed a miss fire up in high revs grand on tick over and gingerly driving ,but when going out to mess in 1st gear it it runs off a cylinder

things i changed before i took it out now it was doing this the last time it was out too

but i changed to a new fuel pump as the old one was noisy really noisy

i have replaced the plug leads and new plugs and put fresh petrol in it

was throwing out a few ideas to what may cause this is a fuel pressure problem or a faulty injector any way of checking this as its fine on start up and on easy driving

any help on this guys would be great get it back to its former self

I had the same problem on mine but stops missfiring when the engine warms up, I changed the brown and blue temp sensor and problem gone, worth checking mate

brown temp sensor is only for the instruments and has no effect on the running of the engine. Blue temp sensor should be tested before replacing:

something new to me, they are cheap new so i changed both
