Hello....Forum...servo installment...is this an easy enough operation? Are there any glitches I should know about?

i'm doing this today!

the one i removed from the donor car was easy enough. just remove the glovebox and trims. with 3 wrists in each arm, (some ratcheting spanners will help) remove the master cylinder.

depending on model and what's fitted, it should be possible to pull the master cylinder away from the servo enough to get the servo out without having to touch hydraulics. i managed this no probs on a 318i with pas after taking the pas reservoir off it's bracket.

be careful not to damage the pipes though, removing them from any clips you can find. in an ideal world, you should remove the master cylinder completely and this is least likely to damage anything but will triple the time to do the job!
