I am in the middle of a restore on an e30 cabby and was wondering whats the best thing to do with the cracked dash?
I have a mint dashboard but i did hear you can get the cracks filled?
Does anyone know of this or can advise me on whats best to do ?

No real cure for a cracked dashboard other than buy a new one :(
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

you can fill the cracks with black silicone if they are small as a quick fix, otherwsie change the dash. note a tin top dash need a little bit cutting out if you fit in a cab, the area is just where the dask meets the A pillars, its and easy job and only requires a hack saw.

Same problem with mine. Spoke to a local repair specialist. His opinion was that it could be done but it will open up again within weeks. Its a big spread of plastic and its flexing all the time.If you have a dash, spend the time putting it in.

I did manage a good repair on mine with a glue gun and textured the top as it set

BUT soon as we had a hot day it all melted again :D
