Coolant pipes

Swapped the heater valve for a nice new one, but forgot the correct position of the two cooling pipes from the engine bay! One runs from the head at the bulkhead end, the other runs along the length of the engine, which way round do they plug into the heater pipes? Facelift m20, cheers.

Cylinder head to the bottom stub. Opposite way to which the pipes lie most naturally.
