m52 reving up too 10.000 rpm

Many times! I suspect your car was previously a four pot, and now the rev. counter is receiving three pulses per turn of the crankshaft instead of the two it was receiving before.ante318is wrote: eny one ever hurd of this befor ?
There is a plug in 'chip' on the lower right front of the instrument cluster (behind the trim panel) that needs changing for a six pot one.
