had a front battery tray changed and there was some welding done, the guy needed access from inside and had to clear the wiring under the steering. before doing it he called me and said that windows does not work. when I came to collect the car, I noticed that the window lock button is pressed, so I pressed it and checked the front windows and they were fine, but did not check the back, on a way was going to open and noticed that off side little window does not work, the light on the button is off as well, the other 3 buttons have lights.
Where can the problem be?
Thanks
p.s. it's a convertable 1989
rear off side window stopped working, where to look..and how?

First of all, there is no 'window lock'. This button is a reset for the resettable 'fuse' for the windows, and should only be pushed in if it has tripped. It is not designed as a awitch and should not be used as such.
For your rear window problem, I'd take a look at the switch. If it lit before, and doesn't now, the chances are that the plug is partly off of it, unless the bulb has coincidently failed.
