Hey guys what do you make of the universal beck boxes that seem to be everywhere nowadays?

Are they easy enough to fit or not do they just suck?

The reason I ask is cos you only seem to be able to get enormous tunnel like single round back boxes for the 318 would bve nice to have a sensible small twin round exhaust! or would it be worth getting a custom system but don't know how much it would cost

Also has anyone seen a breyton e30 body kit thought it looked quite nice and different to the m tech one no point making my car look like something it'll never be but I do wanna make it look nicer than it is at the mo

Universal exhausts aren't worth the money in scrap metal mate, go for a properly built one for sure. Custom ones are a bit hit and miss, depends where you go. I've had bad experiences with Powerflow but others say they're good. Personally, I'll never buy another one again.

Just remember "you get what you pay for"!!! 8)

Thought the universal ones seemed a little pants trouble is the only ones i've found are peco ( horribly loud ) or sebring which seemed to only come in a 4" single round!! Far too big

a days shopping is on the cards coz quick they ain't. they are behind the renault garage behind the west quay shopping centre so shopping seems unavoidable.

they took around 7 hours to do mine but it was a saturday and he was making a rather tasty bike exhaust too. they are that good that i'll be taking my bike there too when funds allow.

i mistyped above - it was 381 not 391. not a big difference i know. if you're portsmouth way shout me and you can examine and hear mine before you part with funds.
