e30 injectors - early/late difference?

hopefully an easy question for someone - would the injectors out on a c plate prefacelift and an f plate facelift be the same? both m20b25. just wondering if i can get the 'spare' set reconned or if they'll be different.

You'll have to check the years, because C-plate and F-plate can span changes in E30 production history. But yes, there is usually a difference. Injectors before 1987 (not sure when, but Jetronic) were high-impedance units, and ones after that (so Motronic) were lower impedance, and are therefore incompatible.
