afternoon all

got the car through its MOT this month- as a precaution I changed both front wishbones for GSF new stock as it was getting a bit clunky and the rubbers looked busted- at the same time swapped the rear bushes for eccentrics too.

Since the MOT (last week) there had been a worsening knock from the OSF when pulling full or half lock. So dutifully I jacked it up to have a look around this afternoon to find this:

Looks like the inner ball joint has popped out of its pressing, the nut at the top in the engine bay is still tight.

What should I do- take it off the car and take the part in or try to get a new one sent out over the phone OR try to repair it?

Its a royal PITA with having to swap out the rear bush again if it does need replacing...

Not great that its been on the car less than 2 weeks and this has happened

Cheers in advance

felt like a balljoint on the way out, was metal on metal, just a solid 'clunk' once when turning
