Hi guys

As the subject says Really, Is this part really needed on my m3, My one is full of rust and i do not know what it does? OEM says that it is a damper ? Part 14 below

Dampers in pump systems are usually there to stop/absord the "Hammer" Effect.
Pete don't care about colour, He would shag a rainbow if he could find the end of it....
